The TEX-BREIN project is pleased to announce the publication of a new public deliverable:
Capacity Building and Mentoring Guidelines for Regional Support Ecosystem Stakeholders and Applying SMEs.
Developed within Work Package 2 of the TEX-BREIN project, this comprehensive publication provides a practical mentoring framework designed to strengthen the capacity of textile SMEs, clusters, business support organisations, innovation agencies, and other ecosystem stakeholders to accelerate the transition towards a more circular textile industry.
The guidelines bring together a curated collection of:
- practical resources and methodologies,
- European regulations and policy references,
- reports and best practices,
- digital tools and platforms,
- training opportunities,
- projects and initiatives supporting textile circularity.
The publication covers five strategic thematic areas that are shaping the future of the European textile sector:
- Circular Economy
- Design for Circularity & Eco-Engineering
- Technologies for Circularity and Recycling
- Digital Product Passport (DPP)
- Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)
Designed as a practical reference, the guidelines can be used both by SMEs seeking to build internal competences and by regional support organisations wishing to implement mentoring and capacity-building programmes within their ecosystems.
This publication represents another important TEX-BREIN project outcome supporting innovation, knowledge transfer, and stronger interregional cooperation for a competitive, resilient and circular European textile industry.
We invite all textile companies, clusters, innovation organisations and stakeholders to explore the publication and use it as a practical resource for developing circular business models and preparing for future European sustainability requirements.
