🎤 Speaker:
Carla Silva is Director of the Chemistry and Biotechnology Department at CITEVE. She holds a degree in Biological Engineering, a Master’s in Industrial Biotechnology, and a PhD in Textile Chemistry. With more than 25 years of experience in applied research for industry, she has authored 11 patents and over 80 peer-reviewed publications. Her expertise covers surface engineering, (nano)biomaterials, advanced fibers and polymers, biotechnology, functional (nano)(bio)coatings, process optimization, sustainability, and circular economy.
