Expressions of Interest (EoI) open for Learning Expedition to Famalicão, Portugal
On January 14th, 2026, the TEX-BREIN project opened the call for expressions of interest to participate in the Learning Expedition to Famalicão, Portugal, which will take place 24 - 25 March 2026.
This learning expedition (LE) to Norte of Portugal, hosted by Portuguese Textile Cluster/ CITEVE, offers a unique opportunity to explore best practices in Norte of Portugal textile ecosystem, with a focus on circular economy, in particular textile recycling, post-industrial and post-consumer, as well as bioeconomy and sustainable practices. During the LE participants will have the opportunity to network and to visit development and research organizations, sorting operators, and a recycling company.
It will offer valuable insights through company and RTO visits, and networking opportunities to foster new business partnerships and innovation projects. It is also a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Norte textile and clothing ecosystem and discover the innovations shaping the future of this industry.
Participation will be financially supported for selected entities, in accordance with the rules defined by the project.
