🌍✨ TEX-BREIN PROJECT CONSORTIUM MEETING

On 8 May 2025, the TEX-BREIN consortium gathered in Prato, Italy, for a productive project meeting hosted at Confindustria Toscana Nord. The event was part of the wider educational mission for entrepreneurs, combining strategic project discussions with on-site learning experiences in one of Europe’s most dynamic textile regions.
Key Highlights from the Meeting
- Project Progress: Partners reviewed the state of the project (Month 7), including finalized deliverables, ongoing interviews, and upcoming work in ecosystems building, capacity development, and SME engagement.
- Capacity Building: Discussions focused on training needs, future webinars, and the launch of learning expeditions. The Prato learning expedition provided participants with first-hand exposure to local initiatives, recycling technologies, and visits to textile companies and the Textile Museum.
- SME Engagement: Partners initiated the process of collecting investment project ideas, with a strong emphasis on involving SMEs as central actors in innovation pathways.
- Re-Hubs Pilot Cases: The consortium set the stage for developing and testing regional re-hub models to strengthen collaboration and knowledge exchange between more developed and less developed regions.
- Dissemination & Communication: Strategies for promoting results through various channels, including YouTube and LinkedIn, were refined, with partners tasked to actively contribute to outreach efforts.
